Games Grads has been designed for all students looking to get into the computer & video games industry.
Whether it's a short-term placement, a permanent role or a post-graduate course, Games Grads offers students a unique opportunity to meet and talk to the industry face-to-face, in one place, and to showcase their talent.
Initially created to attract under-graduates and post-graduates who had already taken the first step towards a career in the games industry by enrolling on a dedicated computer & video games course, Games Grads now attracts students from a wide range of courses including animation, visual arts, applied maths, physics, music technology, software engineering and applied computing.
It offers under-grads and post-grads the chance to get in front of some of the leading companies and studios in games development to find out what vacancies are on offer and to get practical advice on how to get into the industry and what to expect when there.
With just under 1100 students from 49 different universities and colleges, it gives games studios and developers the chance to meet and recruit some of the leading game students from UK courses – the talent of tomorrow – all under the same roof and at the same time.
Games Grads is free for students to attend and takes place in the Spring with events in Manchester and London.
