The Casual Games Forum was a one-day conference and networking event designed for anyone involved in or interested in the business of casual gaming.

It ran successfully in London in 2008 and 2009 but with the gaming landscape changing so dramatically over the last couple of years, casual games development has become an integral part of the wider games development community and can no longer really be tackled independently of other non-trad gaming trends.

To reflect the changing market, this year's Casual Games Forum is being incorporated into the  Evolve Conference  which takes place in London on 8 December.

Evolve focuses on how to develop games for new platforms, new technologies & new markets and covers social gaming, mobile gaming and browser-based gaming as well as casual games. Launched alongside the  Develop Conference in Brighton  in 2009, Evolve has rapidly established itself as a key event for anyone involved in cutting-edge game development.

The Evolve in London programme will explore the latest emerging platforms, new business models and the integration of Internet services and user-generated content. It will help game developers tackle the opportunities and issues arising from these latest platforms and digital marketplaces, as well as from connected gaming, user-generated content, and the crossover between games and Internet services.
